Brand and press
A registration mark, opened.
Registration marks are how printers prove that every layer landed in exactly the right place. The Conform Labs C is that target, opened on the right. At its centre sits the selected-anchor square from the Surehand mark, so the lab and its first product share one detail.
Logo files
Pick the file. Never recolour it.
Use the standard files on Ivory and the reversed files on Ink. For one-colour print, use the mono mark. Below 48 px, use the small icon, which drops the hairlines.
Rules
- Clear space on every side: twice the width of the anchor square
- Minimum size 24 px for the full mark
- Write the name as Conform Labs: two words, both capitalised
- In code and handles:
conformlabs
Don't
- Rotate the mark, close the C, or add a drop shadow
- Set it inside a circle
- Place it on a photo without a paper panel behind it
- Retype the wordmark in a live font
Colour
Two grounds and one signal.
Ivory and Ink are the grounds. Tally, named after the red-orange record light on a camera, is the only accent the lab owns. It fills the one primary action on a screen, and the mark.
Checked and matches. Filled square.
Listed in the change report. Hollow square.
Refused, failed or blocked. Crossed square.
Status colours always come with a word and a glyph, because verified and refused differ by hue alone. They are never decoration.
Type
Three families, three jobs.

One move: registration.
The hairlines draw in from the edges in 160 ms, then the anchor square snaps to the centre in 80 ms with no overshoot. It plays at app launch and on the site's first load, and not at all under reduced motion.
